YouTube Channel of the Week: How it Should Have Ended
:The scenes with Batman and Superman sitting in the coffee shop recounting each ending are fantastic, I could listen to HISHE's rendition of these two superheroes go on for much longer.
:The video clips are too short, though some may in fact consider this a strength.
Welcome to this week’s installment of Slang Strong’s YouTube Channel of the week!
We picked the “HISHEdotcom” channel which features the How It Should Have Ended Series.
Daniel Baxter is the main influence of How it should have Ended.
The Premise behind HISHE is very simple. They animate quick clips of famous movies and point out different plot holes, inconsistencies; different choices that the heroes could have made that seem obvious in retrospect.
With good animation, great movie selections, good voice acting, and humorous writing, the “How it should Have Ended” Series is one of the best channels on YouTube.
Although it is animated, very rarely do you ever complain about the voice acting. It brings you in and is very enjoyable to watch. They go over some of the best movies ever made and do a damn good job!
If you have not seen the movie, then you won’t get most of the jokes. However if you have seen the movie, it’s fucking hilarious. Although it is a parody, all the writing, animation, and jokes are original so that brings their score back up. This score is as high as you can get for a parody based series
The Special effects are all animated, but for animation, it is really well done. Not uber amazing, but still pretty damn good and it gets the point across.
The overall writing of the series is very good, but their biggest drawback is that it’s short. Some could consider it a strength, but over all it’s very good.
