Epic Rap Battles of History are absolutely hilarious, the acting is very well done, and Nice Peter has several laugh out loud moments.:
The production value seems pretty low at certain points.This week, for “Slang Strong’s YouTube Channel of the Week” we selected one of the most musically talented people on the internet.
Nice Peter is the first musically pick for Slang Strong’s YouTube Channel. Nice Peter is a musician with an amazing skill for voice and guitar and music Theory. What is more important is that his comedy is reflected in his music. His music is not only pleasing to the ears but it is hilarious in the best way.
There are two things that have put Nice Peter on the Map. They are
- The Picture songs
- The picture songs are a series of funny pictures being shown on the screen and then Nice Peter sings a funny song about the pictures. It really does not make any sense and there is no real story other than the things he said. “Nom Nom Nom Babies” is perhaps one of the Best
- Epic Rap Battles of history
- This idea came from the fans and this one is what truly put Nice Peter on the Map. The Epic Rap Battles of History are short 2 to 3 min songs with famous people from Entertainment and History battling it out lyrically. It truly is Epic.
Nice Peter’s acting skills are very good. He has gotten into different characters in his Epic Rap Battles of History and really embraced the different Larger than life persona’s quite well. He does such a great job that it is surprising to find that he is actually playing so many roles!
Epic Rap Video’s took his Channel from a 2 star epic rating to a 4.25 easily. With rap battles such as Adolf Hitler vs. Darth Vader who could not deny the epicness of that? Stephen Hawking vs. Albert Einstein and Dr. Seuss vs. Shakespeare really pit legendary larger than life people versus each other in the battle of lyrical combat.
There are so many laugh out loud moments in Nice Peters Videos that his humor rating is through the roof. If you haven’t seen the videos but just know that the smarter you are the more you enjoy a lot of the puns made. For Example when Albert Einstein says he is as dope as two rappers which means that Albert E equals MC squared is a wonderful play on the theory of relativity and that fact that MC is another word for a rapper.
There has never been a picture song on YouTube which scores him big on the creativity on that. There are however rap battles, what makes his unique is instead of using thug rappers he uses figures throughout history. C’mon, Napoleon Bonaparte versus Napoleon Dynamite? Fucking priceless! There are some stupid match ups that make no sense and are not that funny like Hulk Hogan versus Kim Jung Ill. Sorry Nice Peter put a little more though into the videos than that… here is a good one, George W Bush versus George Washington.
The video editing is amazing and the special effects are top notch. There are much better than even many skit comedy shows on T.V such as Saturday Night Live or Mad TV. Watch Shakespeare versus Dr. Seuss and look at the special effects during Dr. Seuss and you will know what I am talking about.
The writing is good for much of the music but some of the less popular match ups suffer because the inherent lack of material to work with. With the majority of the work being very well done he still receives a very good score.
This new category gives you an idea of how many good videos are actually on his channel. The more awesome videos the more stars he gets. He has an average amount of videos that are extremely well done. So for that he just gets an average score.
